Step 1: Open the Taobao App

Make sure you’ve already downloaded the Taobao app and set the language to English (see our previous guide if not).
Step 2: Use the Search Bar to Find Products
Below are 3 different methods for you to find the items you want from Taobao into your Cart.
Type keywords in English or Chinese
At the top of the home screen, you’ll see the search bar. You can type keywords in English or Chinese based on yourself.
But no matter you use english or Chinese, the search result is the same. So, you can choose both language if only you like.
For Example, we want to buy shoes, then we can type keywards Shoes or 鞋子，then after that, there will have so many different kinds of Shoes for your choise, then you can compare them one by one. to check the details of each link and find the best one for you.
Use image search (camera icon) to upload a product photo
Another Smart method to find products on Taobao is that you can buy by the camera scan. Sometimes, if you see your friends or other have good products you want to buy the exactly same, then this methods is very useful for you.

Browse recommended categories
At the home page, there are many different recommend products, you can check them to see if some you like to buy.
This is also a good solution for you to choose products from Taobao.
Sometimes, the systems recommend products are the popular items which others buy mostly recently.
Step 3: Filter and Compare Product Listings
After searching, you’ll get a list of products. Here’s what to look for:
Price range
The price you can compare at the first see for each link.
Monthly sales (销量)
Monthly sales is a good reference to see if you can buy or not. if it is too small, no other goodfeedback then you may need to consider.
reviews
Reviews let you see what other buyers say about this item.
If feedback ok then you can consider
Seller credibility (look for crown or diamond icons)
For the Credibility the higher the better, as quality is very important, if the credibility is high, then means the
return rate is low. So buy from Taobao, for international buying. if you get low return rate items, then safe for you.

Step 4: Check Product Details
Once inside a product page, review:
- Product photos and description
- Variations (color, size, etc.)
- Delivery options (you’ll still ship to a China warehouse)
- Customer reviews with photos
Step 5: Add Items to Your Cart
When ready, select your product variations, then tap 加入购物车 (Add to Cart).
You can keep shopping and repeat this process for multiple items.
No matter you choose items by which shipping method, if only the one that can let you buy the one you want to buy, then it is a good method right?
So by these 3 different metho you can buy many different items and add your cart.
**There are no limited for the tems that you need to buy.
you can buy hundreds items at the same time and add all of them to your cart.
Step 6: View Your Shopping Cart
Tap the 购物车 (Cart) icon at the bottom of the screen to review all items.
You can:
- Remove items
- Modify quantity
- Select which products to proceed with
Step 7: Proceed to Checkout
Select the items you want, then tap 结算 (Checkout).
If you haven’t yet added a shipping address, you’ll be prompted to do so.
Tip:

Step 8: Enter Shipping Address (China Warehouse)
Input the China warehouse address provided by DFH Logistics.
This allows you to:
