Although the Taobao app is primarily in Chinese, you can change the language to English with a few quick steps. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you switch the language on your mobile Taobao app.
To change the Taobao app language to English, download the app, go to “我的淘宝” (My Taobao), access the settings menu (设置), and select “中国香港” under country/region. Then revisit the settings and tap “语言/货币” to choose English. This unlocks the English interface. Step 1: Down Load the Taobao App
If you use Android mobile, then you need to down load the Taobao App at Android shop. See picture below. The word in Chinese is 淘宝

Step 2: Open the Taobao App
Download and open the Taobao app from the App Store or Google Play. Make sure you are using the latest version of the app.

Step 3: Tap the (我的淘宝) Tab in the Bottom Right Corner
After entering the app, tap the 我的淘宝 icon (我的淘宝) located at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Step 4: Tap the Settings Icon (设置) in the Top-Right Corner
At the top-right corner of the "设置" page, which leads to the app’s settings menu.
Step 5: Select “国家/地区”
In the settings menu, scroll down and tap on “国家与地区”, which means “General.”
Step 6: Select "中国香港”
There are so many countries you can choose, But no matter which country you are located, please choose “ 中国香港"
As this step is just help you setting the language into english. But Taobao don’t ship from China directly to overseas, you will need to have a China Warehouse addrss hep you receive the items you buy.

After you tap 确认 It still brings you back to the account centre, at this time, you need find the top right corner setting设置 again

This is the second time you come to this page. So you can see the "语言/货币” The first time you have not this information i am sure.

So many people didn’t try the stpe 6, so they can’t see 国家与地址/语言/货币, but only 国家与地址
Step 8: Choose 语言
You will almost get into English version. please come on!!
Step 9: Choose English
So you get English option here now. Come on!!
Step 10: Tap 确认
Once you choose English, it will appear in English Version right away now.
OK Now you can see the English app of TaoBao.
